It was clean, the staff was efficient and experienced, plus the service was very good. We had a rich breakfast with complimentary free drinks, price-decent amount and topping included. The hotel's location was unbeatable and stunning on outskirts of Leeds.

Convenience
When we arrived the hotel had booked us into 2 double rooms and we wanted 2 twin rooms on the booking it did only say double or twin which really we should have had the option but I cant remember if it did ot not. Luckily enough though the hotel did have one twin room therefore we did sort it our between ourselves as I was with my sister in law and we have shared rooms on several occastion so this did not pose a problem however it could have done.

Comfortable Stay for Business Trip
The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff made my experience nice. Despite its slightly dated decor, the level of service was excellent, which made up for it. The room had all the essentials I needed, including tea and coffee facilities, a hair dryer, and a very nice shower. An added bonus was the small indoor swimming pool, sauna, and steam room, which allowed me to relax after long hours at work. The location was convenient for exploring Yorkshire as well, making it a great choice at just over £60 per night. I would definitely book this hotel again!
Decoration could use an upgrade.

The food is always good.
The place is falling apart and very poorly maintained. Definitely not worth the price. I've only used it a couple of times to meet a colleague. I will not stay there again.

Facilities/staff
I booked a room, and when I got there, only a smoking room was available. I am a non-smoker and I very much hate the smell. The room was very smokey and by the end of the weekend, all my clothes were smokey.

The day staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our room smelt of urine. Also the charges for Breakfast were really expensive. We asked for the hotel to book us a taxi and the firm used drove us over 20 miles out of the way and charged us £10 more than we had been told by the hotel.

Hotel had character, friendly staff on arrival, room comfy.shower superb.evening buffet very good.bar prices a little ott. Morning reception staff very helpful. Disabled friendly, thats good.would use holiday inns again.thankyou
Breakfast staff disinterested.first time there,we where given no indication as to procedures.no indication hot food self service.no one checking hot food levels, had to ask then wait for fried eggs.danish pastries not cooked right, frozen product I used as a professional chef, how can they get it wrong, they where all doughy in the centre. But food selection good, but premier inns have the advantage for breakfast, over service, staff friendlyness, courtesy, helpfulness, not so much standing chatting to each other. But I would use the facility again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Garforth. The staff displayed really good friendliness, and the breakfast spread exceeded my expectations. Although faced slight noise disturbances from nearby rooms, the overall experience blended comfort and hospitality beautifully.

Location
I regret asking for the smoking rooms and I suspect that's why they were not to the standard I would expect for the price. A couple of the lights didn't work and it wasn't as clean as I would hope.
